LA-based pianist/composer Cathlene Pineda is recognized for her work with luminaries such as Charlie Haden and Wadada Leo Smith. In addition to her own albums, Pineda has been commissioned to compose for the Jane Goodall Institute, Los Angeles Music Society and the Occidental Symphony Orchestra.
